Accommodations

Temporary Accommodations

Temporary accommodations are intended to provide the Associate a place to stay until they are able to secure their permanent housing accommodations. 

In an effort to minimize the cost to TCS and the Associate, The TCS Relo Center has established pre-negotiated rates and solutions which will include either a fully furnished corporate apartment or an extended stay hotel that includes a kitchen.

 

Associates must utilize the TCS Relo Center to secure their temporary accommodation in order to receive the temporary accommodation benefits available in Talent Mobility Policy.  The selection of the accommodation will be based upon the Associates needs, location, availability, and best possible price.  Any expenses covered in the Talent Mobility Policy for temporary accommodations will be direct billed to TCS so that the Associate will not have to come out of pocket for the expenses and then submit for reimbursement.  Any expenses incurred that exceed the amount direct billed to TCS will be charged to the Associate's debit / credit card and processed by the TCS Relo Center.

 

In the event that the TCS Relo Center doese not have availability in one of its corporate apartments or extended stay solutions, then the TCS Relo Center will issue the Associate a "Certificate of Non-Availability". This certificate will allow the Associate to book a reservation outside the TCS Relo Center and be reimbursed for the applicable expenses in accordance with the Talent Mobility Policy.

Permanent Accommodations

Apartment / Rentals:

 

The TCS Relo Center will assist the Associate in securing permanent accommodations with a focuse on minimizing any future lease breakage fees associated with a potential future company assingment.

 

Associates will need to understand the criteria for leaseing an apartment as noted in the Lease Break section of this web portal to help mitigate future lease breakage fees and to ensure their eligibility for future reimbursement of potential lease breakage fees.

The TCS Relo Center will help communicate the protocol involved in signing a new lease and will provide a variety of apartment options for the Associate to consider in their selection of their permenanet accommodation.  A Relocation Coordinator will review the needs assessment provided in the Associate's registration process and complete a thorough research of availabile options.  In some cases, the options may include an apartment that is being vacated by a fellow Associate and will reduce the lease breakage fees to TCS and fellow Associates.

 

Home Purchase:

 

In the event that the Associate intends to purchase a home, the Associate may take advantage of the TCS Relo Center HomeBenefits Program, which will provide a cash rebate following the purcahse of a new home as allowed by law.  To learn more about the HomeBenefits Program, simply ask a Relocation Coordinator for details.

 

Home Sale:

 

In the event that the Associate needs to sell a home, the Associate may take advantage of the TCS Relo Center HomeBenefits Program, which will provide a reduced commission fee with a highly qualified real estate professional along with a relocation advocate that will provides tips and strategies to help sell you home as fast as possible for the highest possible price.
